Job Description

The Payroll and Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role ensures accurate payroll execution, efficient benefits enrollment, and seamless communication with employees regarding compensation and benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Manage and process payroll for multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Paylocity Administration: Oversee and maintain payroll system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows.
• Benefits Management: Lead benefits enrollment, oversee broker communication, and ensure compliance with ACA and FMLA requirements.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to HR standards, conduct payroll audits, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Employee Relations: Assist employees with payroll and benefits inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide guidance on workplace policies.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement policies for payroll and benefits efficiency, onboarding, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience
• Proficiency in Paylocity and benefits management platforms
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, ACA, FMLA, and employment laws
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to liaise with employees, management, and external vendors
