The Center for Plastic Surgery in Tysons Corner, VA is in search of a Dynamic Medical and Experienced Front Desk Administrative Assistant to become a part of our team! Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills. They must also have the ability to give attention to detail and multi-task while maintaining a warm, friendly and caring presence.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls & Schedule appointments.
• Greet patients on arrival and check out when leaving.
• Gather patient information & insurance information.
• Enter demographics into management system.
• Collect payments and record with accuracy.
• Mail products.
• Order office supplies/and stock.
• Bank deposits. 
• Ensure daily closing procedures are reconciled correctly. 
• Prepare surgeons weekly schedules. 
• Keep reception area and administrative area welcoming for patients.
• Communicate patient needs with appropriate physician and staff.
• Be willing to perform additional tasks and participate in education and meetings. 

​ Qualifications:

• 3 years previous experience working in a medical office.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred. 
• Ability to create a great customer/patient experience.
• Strong organizational & computer skills.
• EMR - EHR healthcare operating experience is preferred. 
• Previous managerial skills and leading a team is a strength. 
• Professional attitude and presence.
• Detail oriented with attention to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excels in busy environment.
• Dependable.
• Must be able to travel between our Virginia and Chevy Chase office when needed.
• Associate's degree but not required.
