The role of the Plumbing Install Field Supervisor is vital for the success of the Plumbing Department’s strategic business plan. The Field Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading & developing the install techs in the field, improving processes, thus ensuring efficient project completion while providing a 5 Star customer experience.

Qualifications:

 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential plumbing installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. 
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a diverse team.  
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively.  
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.  
• Valid PA Journeyman plumbing license
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Team oriented; teachable; earned respect.
• Ability to coach, supervise and teach.

Tasks and Duties

 

• Lead and supervise a team of 5 residential plumbing installation crews.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to crew members to ensure continuous skill development and high performance.
• Ensure crews have the necessary tools, materials, and equipment to complete installations. ​​​​​​​ Ensure all plumbing work meets the required code, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Perform regular inspections and quality checks on installations to identify and correct any issues before project completion to minimize Callbacks
• Ensure plumbing installations are completed on schedule and meet all customer expectations.
• Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and vendors to ensure timely material delivery and project progress.
• Track project timelines, identify potential delays, and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
