?? POSITION OVERVIEW Join a well-established mechanical contracting firm in Silicon Valley! We're seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to strengthen our financial operations and project controls. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a construction accounting professional to make an immediate impact. Salary is $85k annually.

?? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive project financial management from setup through completion
• Manage project billing cycles and collections to optimize cash flow
• Process and maintain certified payroll reports for public works projects
• Collaborate with Project Managers on cost reporting and analysis
• Maintain detailed job files and cost controls
• Support AP/AR functions and payroll processing
• Issue and track subcontracts and work orders
• Generate and analyze financial reports using Data Analytics tools

?? QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of construction accounting experience
• Strong understanding of construction industry AP/AR and certified payroll
• Proficiency in construction accounting software
• Experience with public works projects
• Excellence in Microsoft Office suite
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
