Radiographer X-Ray Technician - Pensacola, FL
Schedule: Full-time, Weekends Only (7 PM - 7 AM, Friday through Sunday)
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate:
Entry-level: $20.60
10 years of experience: $27.76
20+ years of experience: $32.86
Weekend Differential: $2/hour
On-Call Pay: $3/hour
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 (case by case)
Relocation Assistance: Available (case by case)
Job Summary:
As a Radiographer X-Ray Technician, you will perform a full range of general radiology procedures, including portable imaging, fluoroscopy, operating room imaging, trauma, contrast studies, and bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment. Responsibilities include:
Ensuring accurate patient identification, exam verification, and data entry in Meditech.
Producing high-quality images with technical precision while minimizing radiation exposure.
Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Adapting to scheduling changes, including holiday shifts and on-call requirements.
Assisting in quality improvement processes to maintain high standards of patient care.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program.
Certifications:
Current ARRT registry (required).
Florida Radiographer Certification (required).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Radiology Technician.
