This role is part of MED PLANET , a Lyon based fieldwork agency and a wholly owned subsidiary of M3 Inc. MED PLANET is a leading provider of data-collection services for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. We specialize in conducting both qualitative and quantitative market research in France.
Bilingual revision and quality checking of English, medical market-research materials translated into Chinese
Native proficiency in Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional).
Excellent command of written and spoken English is crucial.
Accurately render the ideas of the source text into the target language so that the text reads as though it were written in the target language.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and market research methodologies is essential. Background in medicine is not required but would be an advantage.
Proven experience (at least 2 years) in medical and/or market research translation.
Ability to review and edit translations for accuracy, fluency, and clarity.
Awareness of cultural differences and the ability to adapt language accordingly.
Experience with CAT tools and possession of a licence ideally, preferably SDL Trados.
Ability to communicate effectively with Project Managers and raise queries when in doubt.
Ability to manage your own schedule and meet deadlines.
