Holmes Clothing is a locally owned menswear store specializing in suits, dresswear, and accessories for weddings, proms, job interviews, LDS missions, and other important occasions. We focus on quality clothing, honest advice, and a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

Position Summary

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Retail Suit Sales Associate to help customers choose suits, shirts, shoes, and accessories—especially for weddings, proms, and LDS missions. You don’t need to be a fashion expert, but you do need to care about people and be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a positive, low-pressure shopping experience
• Help customers choose suits, tuxedos, shirts, shoes, and accessories for weddings, proms, missions, and more
• Offer basic styling and fit advice based on the event, budget, and customer preferences
• Take simple measurements and assist with fittings to ensure proper sizing
• Answer questions and handle orders in-store, online, and by phone
• Restock, tag, and organize merchandise to keep the store clean and well-presented
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and occasional in-store promotions
• Support the team in meeting sales goals and maintaining a positive work environment
• Perform other light duties as needed (simple admin tasks, light cleaning, etc.)

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable talking with customers and building rapport
• Clear, friendly communication skills (in person, phone, and email)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn about suits and formalwear
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (boxes, inventory)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, Saturdays, and some holidays
• Knowledge of LDS missionary dress standards and menswear trends is a plus, but not required
