Job Description

Myles Truck Repair is seeking two experienced Roadside Diesel Technicians to join our team. With a new unit added to our fleet, we are offering two shifts: Night Shift (12 AM – 12 PM) and Day Shift (12 PM – 12 AM). The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with roadside repairs and general diesel engine diagnostics and repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians to join a growing company and provide high-quality service on the road.

THIS WILL BE A SHARED UNIT. SPLIT SHIFT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform roadside diesel repairs, including engine diagnostics, tire changes, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Work independently to assess and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Safely operate repair equipment and tools while ensuring proper safety measures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to report service updates and job completion.
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers, ensuring minimal downtime for vehicles.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in roadside diesel repairs.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in roadside conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work either the day or night shift.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay Scale Varies by experience

Weekly: $1,300.00 - $1,900.00
