Job Description

Job Title : Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Tester

Location: Canada- Remote

Experience: 1 to 3 years - 4 to 6 years - 10+ years

Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Tester to join our team. As a Salesforce QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our Salesforce-based applications, solutions, and integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to test the functionality, performance, and stability of Salesforce platforms, including customization, configurations, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Testing & Validation :

    • Perform manual and automated testing on Salesforce applications, including custom objects, Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations.
    • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
    • Identify, document, and track defects or issues, ensuring that they are resolved before product releases.
  2. Collaboration :

    • Work closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand functional requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
    • Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide input from a quality perspective.
    • Ensure clear communication of testing progress, issues, and results.
  3. Automation :

    • Develop and maintain automated tests using tools like Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce-specific test automation tools.
    • Automate repetitive testing tasks to enhance the efficiency of the testing process and ensure faster time-to-market.
  4. Regression & Performance Testing :

    • Conduct regression testing to ensure new Salesforce updates or changes do not impact the existing functionality.
    • Perform performance testing on Salesforce applications to identify bottlenecks and ensure scalability.
  5. Documentation :

    • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test case documentation, test results, and defect reports.
    • Maintain testing logs and generate test summaries and status reports for stakeholders.
  6. Continuous Improvement :

    • Provide feedback on testing processes and suggest improvements to enhance quality assurance practices.
    • Stay up to date with Salesforce updates and releases to adapt testing strategies accordingly.
