Pampered Paws West Grooming is looking for a part-time, dedicated Salon Assistant to join our high-end grooming business. You'll play a key role in ensuring our pets receive the exceptional care and attention they deserve. Your efforts will support our skilled groomers, contributing to the seamless operation of our salon and enhancing the overall experience for our pet parents. • Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for pets and their owners. This includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and doing laundry.
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently using the salon software.
• Provide friendly and informative customer service, addressing pet parents' questions and concerns with care and professionalism.
• Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and restocking as needed, ensuring our team has the tools they need to succeed.
• Be observant of what is happening in the salon to avoid potential problems, such as pets not showing up or not being picked up on time, etc.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Comfortable with computers and the ability to learn the salon scheduling software program;
• Customer-service attitude;
• Willingness to pitch in and be part of the team to maintain a clean and smooth-running salon and ability to get the job done;
• Regular communication with the Operations Manager regarding any potential issues.
