Senior Internal Auditor Responsibilities: - Participating in audits evaluating controls for different business units and processes, including:
- Demonstrating understanding of reviewed areas (processes, risks, controls) and documenting them accurately.
- Assisting in developing audit approach and testing strategy for key risks and controls.
- Completing test procedures and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Identifying potential findings, drawing conclusions, developing recommendations, and communicating them to the Audit Project Manager.
- Confirming findings with management, discussing deficiencies, and recommending improvements.
- Assisting in developing formal findings and recommendations for reports.
- Performing verification procedures on management's corrective actions.
- Participating in ad-hoc projects, investigations, and SOX 302 & 404 activities.
- Assisting external auditors during reviews.
- Participating in global audit assignments as needed.
- Collaborating with global colleagues on department/corporate initiatives.
- Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement.
Senior Internal Auditor Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certifications preferred).
- Experience: 2-5+ years of audit experience in a large multinational, professional services, or public accounting firm.
- Technical Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of internal auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and relationship building.
- Organizational Skills: Effective organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
