Senior Network Engineer
Location: 100% On-Site in Las Colinas / Irving, TX
Position Type: Direct-Hire
Salary: 150-170k annual plus 10% bonus
Residency Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. No sponsorship available. ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Cisco  and Spine-Leaf architecture to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on network expert proficient in small to medium sized  data center environments , WAN technologies , and network security , capable of architecting reliable, high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Spine-Leaf networks using Cisco technologies, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement and maintain secure, high-performance networks across multi-vendor platforms including firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and WAN optimization tools.
• Collaborate with teams to align network solutions with business needs, delivering reliable and secure services.
• Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues swiftly to maintain optimal uptime.
• Lead network security efforts, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and contribute to network evolution strategies.
• Provide documentation of network architecture, policies, and processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for network support.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years in network engineering, with a focus on  data centers and Spine-Leaf architecture .
• Expertise with Cisco switching and routing technologies.
• Strong knowledge of eBGP, iBGP, OSPF , and WAN technologies.
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and Meraki cloud-managed networks .
• Ability to manage large-scale projects from planning to execution, ensuring network performance and security.
• Network automation experience (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certifications such as CCNA , CCNP , CCIE,  VCTA-NV .
• Experience with public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with networking for containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
