Akkodis is seeking a Slack Engineer for a Contract with a client in Omaha, NE/Austin, TX/Scottsdale, AZ/Chicago, IL/San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize Slack at an enterprise scale, ensuring security, compliance, and seamless integration with business systems.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Slack Engineer job responsibilities include:
Administer and optimize Slack for a large enterprise, ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Develop governance frameworks to manage Slack workspaces and enforce enterprise policies.
Build and deploy automation solutions using Slack APIs, bots, and AI-driven strategies to enhance collaboration.
Integrate Slack with enterprise systems and third-party tools for seamless workflow connectivity.
Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to implement scalable and secure Slack solutions.
Lead cross-functional projects from concept to implementation, driving innovation in collaboration technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in enterprise Slack administration, including security, compliance, and governance.
Strong proficiency in Slack API development, automation, and integration with enterprise systems.
Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven automation and scripting for workflow optimization within Slack.
