The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business objectives. This role combines creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making to build a strong, consistent brand presence across all social platforms.

**Responsibilities**

  • **Strategy, Planning & Leadership**
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify target audiences, trends, and platform opportunities to optimize performance.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and campaign alignment.
  • Develop and manage a social content specialist to assist in social channel strategy execution.
  • **Content Creation & Management**
  • Using in-house content development teams, this role will ideate, curate, and manage engaging, high-quality content for social media channels (copywriting, images, videos, stories, reels, etc.).
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to produce platform-specific content.
  • Ensure brand voice and visual identity are consistent across all channels.
  • **Community Engagement**
  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions, comments, and messages promptly and professionally.
  • Foster community engagement and manage brand reputation online.
  • Proactively engage with relevant industry conversations and influencers.
  • **Analytics & Optimization**
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
  • Stay current with and deploy social media best practices, tools, and emerging platforms.
  • **Campaigns & Paid Advertising**
  • Manage paid social campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts into larger campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or agency.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube) and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising and performance optimization.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and brand aesthetics.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
