Software Development Intern/Co-op

Join an innovative product development team committed to designing advanced systems for printing and personalizing credit cards, passports, driver's licenses, national IDs, and more. Obtain practical experience by engaging in challenging assignments that contribute substantial value to the business. Collaborate within cross-functional teams to create impactful products. As part of the product development group, you will play a key role in developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agent Solutions that align with project objectives and support the overall product development process.

Position Overview

This role offers a software development intern the opportunity to gain experience within a product development environment. The intern will contribute to the creation of innovative AI Agent Solutions, supporting the product development team in knowledge management to promote core competency retention and enhance product development velocity.

Responsibilities

• Technical problem solving
• Identify and implement AI agent solution opportunities within the Entrust IT Infrastructure Environment
• Work closely with a cross functional team of engineers and developers
• Develop AI Agent solutions to assist in solving design problems
• Participating in AI Agent Solution design reviews
• Prototype and test AI Agent Solutions
• Develop and provide training for developed AI Agent Solutions
• Provide solutions and recommendations for technical problems
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Artificial Intelligent Agent development experience
• Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and debugging with Python, C#, C++, and SQL
• LangChain experience
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Machine Learning or Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Experience
• Strong interest in product design solutions
• Commitment to learning and continuous improvement
• Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized
• Ability to excel in highly interactive cross-functional team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 3.0 GPA or higher
