Job Description

The World Equestrian Center  is currently seeking a  Stewarding Supervisor  to join our team! The  Stewarding Supervisor  is responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to the stewarding team members in order to maintain the highest level of cleanliness

  Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas to include: walk-in coolers, floors, walls, rolling equipment, small wares, china, glass and silverware.
• Maintain a steady pace to meet demand for dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, etc.
• Observe careful work habits and conditions in areas of sanitation, safety, breakage, and waste control.
• Responsible for assisting the Steward Manager with the efficient and effective running of the Steward Department.
• Assist in supervising Stewarding team ensuring all assignments and tasks are performed to World Equestrian Center standard and within the timeframe required.
• Responsible for storage, requisitioning of all materials and equipment.
• Taking and calculating of material stock (inventory) as required.
• Reporting to the Steward Manager with all breakages, cleaning supply consumption, etc.
• Maintaining all equipment to a high standard, i.e.: dishwashers, burnishes, etc., and reporting to maintenance any defects.
• Minimize breakage of circulating equipment.

• Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
• Effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
