Leasing Agent Internship

Location: St.Cloud, Minnesota

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay; $20 per hour

Join our team this summer as a Leasing Agent Intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in property management and resident relations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team during our busiest leasing season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all pre-move-in communications for leases, including outreach, follow-up, and coordination with incoming residents
• Keep accurate records of all traffic (e-leads, phone, and walk-in)
• Maintain and organize resident files and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
• Serve as a first point of contact for prospective and incoming residents-answering questions, providing property information, and setting expectations
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction-in person, over the phone, and via email
• Support leasing team with administrative tasks and move-in logistics
• Conduct property tours as needed and help present the community in a professional, welcoming manner
• Discusses with potential residents the advantages of leasing at the property
• Process rental applications per company standards
• Prepare leases for future residents
• Assist residents with questions, maintenance requests, payment of rent or other requests daily
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication skills-both written and verbal
• Computer knowledge MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Previous experience in AppFolio property management software is a plus
• Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with residents and team members
• A high level of customer service awareness and emotional intelligence
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles (retail, hospitality, call center, etc.) preferred
• Detail-oriented and highly organized-able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
• High school diploma required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to pass a thorough background check pre-employment and periodically throughout employment
