Experienced Sushi Chef Needed for Busy Japanese Restaurant!
We are an established Japanese/sushi restaurant in Milford, MI looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team. If you love creating beautiful, fresh sushi and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, rolls, and omakase dishes
Expertly fillet, slice, and handle fresh fish and ingredients
Maintain a clean and organized sushi station
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
Assist with inventory and ordering supplies
Collaborate with kitchen team for smooth service

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a reputable restaurant
Strong knowledge of traditional Japanese techniques and fresh ingredients
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy shifts
Reliable, team-oriented, and punctual
Valid food handler's permit (or ability to obtain one)
Authorized to work in the US
