Job Description
Description & Requirements We are looking for an UI/UX application development professional to modernize and maintain a broad application portfolio including geospatial, mobile, web-based, and business applications for a Federal critical infrastructure agency. They will be a member of a development team charged with supporting full stack applications in languages like Java, Angular, C#, PHP, React, and Vue.js. These applications enable the American public and critical infrastructure leaders real-time visibility to environmental and compliance information throughout the United States. They will deliver accessible, elastic environmental information for the agency and American public, as well as integrate with adjacent program offices to integrate and maintain capabilities.
Major responsibilities include:
- Develop, create, and modify business applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Incorporate human centered and user-centered design methodologies to analyze user needs and deliver user-center software solutions.
- Design software or customize software based on client requirements, with an emphasis on optimizing efficiency and reliability
- May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Interface with technical team members, adjacent program offices, adjacent contractors, and external stakeholders

Minimum Requirements: - US Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance Required
- University degree (BS) in a closely related field (Information Technology, Business Administration)
- 5+ years demonstrated experience as a full stack software or application developer
- Required Certifications: Advanced certification in programming languages like Java, C#, PHP, Angular, and React

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
