Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced UX Software Engineer/Developer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing user-centered solutions that drive engagement and enhance the overall user experience of our platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to bring innovative and intuitive products to life. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with FINSYNC’s UX designers and product managers, learning and understanding user needs and translating them into functional and visually appealing user interfaces
Develop and implement high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code for web and/or mobile applications, focusing on front-end development and user interactions
Build reusable UI components and libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across different products and services
Implement responsive designs that translate and adapt seamlessly to various screen sizes
Conduct thorough usability testing and debugging, identify and resolving usability issues, ensuring a smooth user experience
Engage with and stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, technologies, and best practices
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and coding standards; effectively participate in code reviews
Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap by providing insights on technical feasibility and user experience considerations
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in software development
3+ years of front-end development and user experience
Proven and successful professional experience in designing and developing user-centered interfaces for web and/or mobile applications
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as ES6 and webpack, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material Design).
Understanding of UX principles and best practices, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design
Experience with version control systems and relevant workflows (e.g., Git, SVN)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with user analytics tools such as fullstory and google analytics
