Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and organized Warehouse Supervisor to join our wholesale convenience store distribution company. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, some supervisory experience, and hands-on experience with order picking. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, supporting order accuracy, overseeing team productivity, and assisting with day-to-day warehouse tasks.
Key Responsibilities: - Order Picking & Packing: Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing direction, training, and support to maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, coordinate restocking activities, and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Quality Control: Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Promote a safe and organized work environment by enforcing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to identify process improvements, assist in implementing solutions, and support operational efficiency.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, including regular inventory counts, product rotation, and general upkeep.
Qualifications: - Experience: 3+ years in a warehouse environment with at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in order picking, inventory management, and quality control processes. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physical activities as needed.
- Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on motivating and supporting team members.
- Availability: 12 p.m. to Finish ( Monday to Thursday)
