Position: WebMethods Consultant with SAP Experience
Description:
We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Consultant with strong expertise in SAP integration to join our team on a long-term contract basis. As a WebMethods Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the integration of SAP systems with other business applications through WebMethods platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design, implement, and support integration solutions.
Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and support integration solutions using WebMethods suite (including WebMethods Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Broker, etc.), SAP ECC, SAP CRM, and other SAP modules.
- Implement WebMethods integration flows to integrate various SAP modules and third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WebMethods integration and SAP data flow.
- Ensure seamless data transfer between SAP and other enterprise systems, maintaining data integrity and security.
- Work closely with SAP technical teams to ensure smooth communication and data exchange between SAP and external systems.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand integration requirements and business processes.
- Participate in SAP project implementations and provide input on integration architecture, design, and testing.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and error handling in integration flows.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and optimization for WebMethods integrations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, workflows, and configurations.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams to implement IDOC and RFC-based integrations as part of SAP integration solutions.
- Ensure high levels of system availability, performance, and security in integration processes.
- Design, configure, and implement integrations between SAP and other systems such as external applications, databases, or cloud systems.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design integration solutions that support SAP applications.
Requirements: Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a WebMethods Consultant with expertise in integrating SAP systems.
- Strong experience working with WebMethods Integration Server, Universal Messaging, WebMethods Broker, and Designer.
- Hands-on experience in integrating SAP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP CRM with other business applications using WebMethods.
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as IDOC, RFC, BAPIs, and web services (SOAP, REST).
- Experience with SAP ALE PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) and related components.
- Solid understanding of SAP integration tools and middleware.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, messaging, and middleware architecture.
- Experience in data mapping, transformation, and error handling in WebMethods integration flows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues effectively.
- Experience supporting production environments, including monitoring and maintaining integration processes.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with SAP HANA and Cloud Integration.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with SAP ABAP is a plus.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with WebMethods integration solutions and SAP.
