Welder/Fabricator
Pay: $25-33/hr.
Shift: Day schedule, depends on the job site; leave from the shop daily
Description:
- Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a growing structural steel and misc metals fabrication and installation company.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the miscellaneous metals field is preferred
- Knowledge and Proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding
- Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Knowledge of tools and equipment that will be used on the job; including but not limited to saws, plasma tables, ironworker, hand tools, and power tools
- Willingness to travel locally within 2 hours of the shop in York, PA; ability to commute to the shop daily
- Ability to read and fabricate from shop drawings and/or blueprints
- Ability to weld test (MIG and Stick) and fabrication test
- Valid driver's license
This position requires 75% or more travel; most local within two hours of York, PA and some occasional overnight travel if needed
This position requires a successful drug screening and background check before starting
