DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide application support for Trade Management technologies. Resolve technical and functional issues, and respond to software-related queries from Traders, Middle Office, and Back Office Users related to Trade Booking, Pricing and Risk, PnL Calculations and Settlements. Provide technical support for market data. Monitor software application health and processes. Ensure application availability and delivery of critical feeds before SLA. Work with regional and global IT support teams. Perform detailed analysis on production problems, engage and coordinate with different teams for resolution. Identify frequent back end updates performed for production stability and coordinate with Global Production Management and Development teams to prioritize and fix bugs. Prepare and maintain relevant technical knowledge repository.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study plus 6 (Six) years of experience in the job offered or as Application Support, Software Engineer, IT Associate, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study plus 4 (Four) years of experience in the job offered or as Application Support, Software Engineer, IT Associate, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Production management team or application support within financial services industry; Sybase; SQL; PL/SQL; Windows; Linux; Finance domain, including Investment Banking products; Configuring gateways, alerts, and rules in ITRS; Geneos monitoring tool; Python programming; Sybase database replication; AWS Cloud Computing; Agile Methodology.
