Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, reporting, and cost control initiatives.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial statements.
• Oversee tax filings, grant reporting, and financial compliance.
• Supervise accounting, billing, medical records, and purchasing.
• Present financial reports to the Board and leadership team.
• Ensure internal controls, audits, and financial best practices.
• Manage IT operations and recommend system upgrades.
  
  

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA certification.
• Preferred: MBA or Master’s in Accounting with CPA/CMA.
• Experience: 3-5 years in FQHC finance, healthcare financial management, or 7 years in nonprofit finance.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and grant management.
  
  

The CFO role is fully onsite in Akron, OH with a salary range of $115,000 - $160,000 depending on experience.
