Description

Drug Testing Specialists are responsible for collecting and administering various types of drug tests for courts, agencies, employers, and private individuals. You will collect samples for urinalysis, saliva, hair, nail, and DNA paternity testing. You will act as a liaison to the entities requesting the tests. The position may require some local travel, so reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Collect samples for urinalysis, saliva, hair, nail, and DNA paternity tests according to the chain of custody procedures.
  • Collect and distribute test results to the appropriate entity.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed.
  • Apply, review, and process client payments.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain inventory of drug testing supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and inspection of drug testing supplies and equipment.
  • On occasion, travel locally for a test collection. (court, jail, school, employer's office, etc.)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Clean driving history.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to testify in a courtroom.
  • Must be comfortable entering a jail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must have conflict resolution skills.
