**Production Technician | Muscle Shoals, Alabama** **Job Description** We are seeking production technicians to join our dynamic team across five different buildings. This role requires individuals with experience in heavy equipment repair, forklift repair and operation, as well as a mechanical mindset. Candidates with experience in automotive mechanics, farm equipment, and engine repair are preferred. **Responsibilities** + Operate mobile equipment and perform machine operations to support the Autonomous Production Unit (APU) processes and procedures. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Multitask effectively while paying attention to detail and precision. + Communicate effectively and perform other general tasks as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent. + 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred. + Ability to pass a basic skills assessment including reading comprehension, math, inspection, measuring, and monitoring/problem-solving. + Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States. + Ability to lift 50 pounds. + Excellent attendance and safety record. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in heavy equipment/forklift repair or operation. + Mechanical aptitude and a mechanically inclined mindset. + Familiarity with machine operation, overhead cranes, and motor control. + Ability to work in a tobacco-free environment. + Willingness to work a 3-2-2 schedule that includes every other weekend, holidays, and overtime (6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.). + Ability to work in a factory/manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and cold conditions. **Why Work Here?** Join a world-class aluminum manufacturing plant with a wide range of opportunities to grow and develop your skills. The facility features the widest strip mill in the USA and a state-of-the-art recycling center. Employees work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various temperatures, in a factory setting that operates 24/7.
