Job Title: Estimator/Detailer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator/Detailer to join our team within the structural steel fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in structural steel detailing and a strong understanding of AISC standards.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed steel fabrication drawings, including shop and erection drawings.
* Perform accurate material take-offs and measurements.
* Assist in developing estimates and bids for steel projects.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure project specifications are met.
* Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
* Maintain and organize detailed project records and documentation.
* Ensure all work is in compliance with AISC standards and industry best practices.

Requirements:

* Experience in structural steel detailing.
* Strong knowledge of AISC standards.
* Basic or advanced skills in estimating, including take-offs, estimates, and bids.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in the structural steel fabrication industry.
* Proficiency in estimating software or related tools.
* Familiarity with project management systems.
