Sharpcontra is seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of company events and promotional activities. This role will be crucial in ensuring that all logistics run smoothly and that each event delivers a high-quality experience for both clients and attendees. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events from concept to completion

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure seamless event logistics

  • Manage event set-up, tear-down, and follow-up processes

  • Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, timelines, and inventory tracking

  • Support internal teams with materials preparation and event promotion

  • Attend events to assist with on-site logistics and guest coordination

  • Maintain accurate records and generate post-event reports

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a similar field

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic event planning tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
