Housepersons are responsible for ensuring the Housekeeping Department is well-stocked with the supplies needed to conduct their daily  work. Housepersons must be able to make deliveries using a company supplied golf cart and are regularly  expected to lift in excess of 50 pounds. Houspersons should possess a high level of intrinsic motivation, as much of the position requires  independent work. Additionally, housepersons regularly interact with guests of the resort and must maintain a polite and professional  demeanor.

The Houseperson responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for keeping housekeeping staff and closet/office spaces stocked with supplies such as, linen, terry, cleaning products,   and room amenities.
• Make guest deliveries in accordance with Vail Resorts/Grand Teton Lodge Company Brand Standards, including but not limited to,   meeting a 15-minute delivery time and maintaining high levels of guest service.
• Must maintain cleanliness of storage closets and offices, including employee restrooms. Tasks include sweeping, mopping,   organizing, trash removal, and sanitizing work spaces.
• Load and unload laundry carts, keeping shelves stocked to correct par levels with linen and terry products. Pick up items from the   commercial laundry room as required.
• Regularly sweep grounds for bags of dirty linen and guestroom garbage, maintaining cleanliness of grounds and eliminating animal   attractants.
• Make up rollaway beds in accordance with Vail Resorts/Grand Teton Lodge Company Brand Standards and make deliveries as   requested.
• Deliver supplies to various locations around the property using a company provided golf cart.
• Responsible for conducting a daily inventory of supplies and turning into management at the end of each shift.
• Must maintain professional communication with the front desk, housekeeping office assistant, guests and management via radio,   phone and in-person.
• Must be able to work outside in all conditions.
• Support department in completing rooms by the 4pm check-in time which may require stripping rooms of linen, terry and trash   and/or making beds, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Houseperson position asks that any candidate be able to demonstrate the following skills or experience:

• Previous hotel/hospitality experience – Preferred
• Must be able to work outside in all conditions -Required
• Strong communication skills - Required
• Must be able to work outside in all conditions -Required
• Ability to work independently and positive attitude - Required
• Valid Driver’s License - Preferred

The expected pay range is $17.75 . This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
