Job Description

Purchasing Assistant / Buyer Location Anaheim, CA :

Responsibilities:

● Manage Purchases: Handle purchasing orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.

● Maintain Records: Track inventory levels and monitor order statuses, ensuring all materials are received on time and to specification.

● Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal service, pricing, and timely deliveries.

● Streamline Operations: Proactively identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness, contributing to Pen Manufacturing's growth and success.

● Support the Team: Collaborate with various departments to ensure purchasing aligns with production schedules and operational needs.

● Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to procurement processes, leveraging your expertise to enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements:

● Proven Experience: You bring a solid background in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

● Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable navigating various purchasing software, CRM, and communication tools. Experience with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms is a must.

● Self-Starter: You thrive in a fast-paced work environment, with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

● Strong Communicator: You're confident and clear when communicating with both internal teams and external suppliers, maintaining professionalism and building long-lasting relationships.

● Problem-Solver: A proactive approach to resolving issues, overcoming challenges, and ensuring that operations run smoothly.

● Detail-Oriented: Your keen attention to detail ensures that no task is overlooked, and everything is tracked and organized perfectly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year
