Job Title: Travel RN – Nurse Educator
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
4 days/week
10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; days may vary)
Travel Rate: $3,245 – $3,548.50/week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support professional development and drive educational excellence within a high-volume Operating Room (OR) department. This role focuses on enhancing clinical competency, leading training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with organizational, clinical, and regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess learning needs and develop targeted education plans for OR nursing staff.
Design, coordinate, and deliver training using evidence-based adult learning practices.
Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires; oversee annual and ongoing competency assessments.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to align education programs with departmental objectives.
Document all training activities, evaluations, and staff progress accurately and timely.
Serve as an expert clinical resource, mentor, and support for ongoing professional growth.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg clinical experience.
Active New York State RN license with Primary Source Verification (NYSED).
Current AHA BLS certification.
