**Job Title: Electrical Mechanic** **Job Description** As an Electrical Mechanic, you will play a vital role in managing and executing electrical projects efficiently. Your expertise in bending pipe with both hand and hydraulic benders, installing conduit, working with switchgear, and performing terminations will be crucial. You will also be responsible for running BX and MC cable, troubleshooting, and wiring panels. **Responsibilities** + Bend pipe using hand and hydraulic benders. + Install conduit and perform roughing tasks. + Work with switchgear and perform terminations. + Run BX and MC cable. + Troubleshoot and wire electrical panels. + Install outlets, switches, and devices. + Pull BX and MC cable. **Essential Skills** + 8+ years of commercial electrical experience. + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and pipe bending. + Experience with bending conduit, conduit installation, and service work. + Ability to install switchgear. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + SST 10-hour certification. + OSHA 30 certification. + Lift certification. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading firm in NYC where you can look forward to growth and advancement opportunities. Employees must sign in and out daily and have all necessary PPE, tools, and certifications (SST and OSHA 30) at hand. Work will be evaluated on technical ability, speed, attitude, and confidence in tasks such as pipe work, panel wiring, and three-way switch wiring. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
